Students will complete Sunshine State Standards in Reading, Writing, Social Studies, Science and Mathematics.
Reading will involve: independent reading of chapter books, reading in groups, and using dictionaries to look up words.
Writing will include: writing in cursive, writing in paragraphs, and using correct spelling and grammar.
Math will include: multiplication and division, analyzing and graphing data, working with fractions and decimals, and rounding.
Science includes: hands-on projects, knowing the solar system, comparing human skeletons to animal skeletons, and conduct experiments that tests hypothesis.
Social Studies/History includes: reading world maps,and being able to name the 50 states and their capitals.
Students will also experiment with artwork and music.
